Discover all questions and answers related to user behavior, best practices, warnings, sanctions, and many other essential information.

Definition

A code of conduct, in the context of an animal selling website, is a set of guidelines and ethical principles that govern how users should interact on the platform. It defines the expected standards of behavior for sellers, buyers, and all parties involved in animal-related transactions.

These guidelines aim to promote animal welfare, ensure the legality of transactions, and prevent any form of exploitation, neglect, or abuse of animals.

In essence, a code of conduct on an animal selling website aims to create a safe and ethical environment for all stakeholders, emphasizing animal welfare and user responsibility. It helps promote respectful practices towards animals while facilitating legal and transparent transactions.

Best Practices

During your visits to our platform, respectful and compassionate behavior towards other users is essential.

This entails being courteous during negotiations, asking relevant questions about animals, being honest as a seller, avoiding disrespectful behavior, and reporting any misconduct.

The primary goal should be the well-being of animals and compliance with local laws. By acting in this way, you contribute to creating a positive online community.

Misconduct

Inappropriate behavior generally encompasses any action that violates rules, norms, or best practices. This can include actions such as online bullying, harassment, spreading offensive or illegal content, using coarse or discriminatory language, disclosing personal information without consent, distributing spam or malware, and deliberately disrupting the online community.

In summary, inappropriate behavior is behavior that harms the experience of other users, violates website rules, or jeopardizes the safety and well-being of the online community. It is essential to respect the guidelines and standards established by the website in question to maintain a healthy and respectful online environment for all users.

False reports are intentional reports of content, even if they are not actually illegal. Preeders® takes this issue very seriously to maintain a healthy environment.

When a false report is identified, measures are taken to protect the rights of the affected users. The author of the report is informed that their reports are defamatory and contrary to the terms of use. Additional actions, such as account restrictions, may be taken in case of repetition.

The goal is to allow everyone to post listings with confidence by avoiding malicious reports. Users are encouraged to report only genuinely illegal content to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

In case of false reporting or questions about the reporting policy, users are invited to contact the Preeders® support team for assistance and to ensure a positive experience on the platform.

Sanctions

Banishment can be temporary or permanent and is triggered after three warnings for non-compliant behavior.

It consists of three progressive steps: one week of temporary banishment, one month of banishment in case of recurrence, and finally, permanent banishment in case of persistent inappropriate behavior.

During the banishment period, the user loses access to their activities and listings, including paid options.

It's important to note that any request for review or appeal regarding a banishment cannot be considered in this context.
